How to rank on the first page of Google with one simple trick.
If you're getting impressions but not clicks, you're so close to ranking. You just need to tweak a few things.
Here's how to find easy wins.
Go to Google Search Console. Click performance. Then click pages.
Pick any page you want to improve. Sort by impressions.
Look for a keyword that has a lot of impressions but low clicks. That means Google is showing your page but people aren't clicking. Your title or description isn't matching what they're searching.
Now fix it.
Rewrite your page title to mirror that exact phrasing. Use the words people are actually typing into Google.
Tweak your meta description to answer the question in one sentence with a soft call to action. Give them a reason to click.
You can also mirror that phrasing in your H1 and the first couple sentences of your page. This tells Google your content matches the search intent.
Then go to URL inspection in Search Console. Request indexing. This tells Google to recrawl your page with the updates.
Do this for as many pages as you can. These are easy wins most people miss.
